Hog Roast Yatton Makes Catering Events Easy!

Hog Roast SouthwestPlanning a party is one of those things that always sounds easier before you actually start doing it. Whether you’ve thrown dozens of events or you’re organising your first proper celebration, there’s a surprisingly long list of things to think about, isn’t there? What are people going to eat? What’s the venue going to look like? Do you need a band? And, somehow, you’re supposed to find time to enjoy yourself too.

The good news is that having reliable caterers can take one of those jobs off your hands.

At Hog Roast Yatton, we’ve spent decades catering for all sorts of celebrations, so we know that no two events are quite the same. And rather than expecting you to fit around us, we work with you to make sure the food suits the occasion, your guests and, of course, your budget.

That was exactly what Sue was looking for when she got in touch with us about her 60th birthday last month. She wanted something her guests could genuinely enjoy, but with several dietary requirements to think about, including vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free guests, the challenge of finding a feast that suited everyone felt overwhelming at first. Luckily, Sue didn’t have to work it all out by herself – our catering manager, Rob, was on hand to answer her questions, talk through the options and help put together the perfect spread.

To Sue’s pleasant surprise, we had the menu sorted in no time at all, which meant one less thing for her to worry about, and then it was just a case of waiting for the big day to roll around. When it did, Hog Roast Yatton made sure the hog roast was given plenty of time to cook slowly over a low flame – you can’t rush perfection, after all. Then, once the skin had been scored and seasoned, we left it to do its thing while the rest of the food was prepared. Before long, the mouth-watering smell of roasting pork was drifting around the venue, joined by sizzling sausages, veggie sausages and smoky-sweet BBQ pulled jackfruit.Hog Roast Southwest

Guests were free to fill up on any mains that took their fancy, as well load up on sides of coleslaw, mixed salad, sweet potato and classic fries. Suffice to say, there was plenty to go around and no one had trouble filling their plates.

As for Sue, the finished result was exactly what she’d hoped for. Hog Roast Yatton’s food looked great, tasted fresh and left everyone satisfied. More importantly, she could actually enjoy her 60th birthday without spending the whole day worrying about the catering.
