The wedding went great! The buffet set up was definitely more relaxed and what we were hoping for. Food, as expected, looked and tasted incredible and there was plenty for guests to go and get seconds. Even my husband's family (all veggies) loved the spread and were very impressed with the BBQ jackfruit option. We can't thank you enough!

We decided to book Spitting Pig for our daughter's christening as an alternative hassle free option to a typical buffet and we are so so glad we did! The BBQ was exactly what we were hoping for and all of our guests loved it too! We had a Hog Roast for our wedding last Friday and it was amazing, so relaxed and beautiful food! Even got complements regarding the vegetarian quiche, all the staff were so good and easy to talk to and just got complemented about the food all evening, thank you!

I love a good Hog Roast and that's why I decided to hire one for my birthday this year! I had about 30 people over and I decided on the Southern Slow Roast menu, and it went down a storm! Thank you so much Spitting Pig South West!

I used Spitting Pig South West for a training course I organised, when I first rang to enquire about the food the staff on the phone were so helpful and had constant contact with the company. On the day, the staff who came were very professional and the food was lovely. All the staff on the course enjoyed and complemented. From the moment we got in touch with the company, our experience has been wonderful. The entire process of getting prices, picking our menu with the help of the team and getting booked for our 2022 wedding has been first class. After having to postpone our wedding last year, dealing with helpful and friendly vendors like the Spitting Pig team has meant a lot to us.

Used these guys for a hog roast at our home and I was extremely impressed. From the first telephone call onwards the service was superb and just kept getting better. On the day they arrived early the set up was clean smart and professional and the food was first class. Afterwards they discretely tided up and left. I even saw one on his hands and knees picking up bits of food from the lawn. It really was outstanding service.

I just wanted to email to say what an AMAZING job Beth did yesterday at our party.   The food quality, service and general running of the catering was first class and the positive comments from all my guests were testimony ! Hi Beth, The menu was excellent, we have received lots of comments about how good the quality and quantity of food was, I’m not sure how much was left over but I know everyone enjoyed what they ate. I don’t recall the exact time the service started as we were behind schedule but your team kept me well informed and were very professional.

Spitting Pig catered for our wedding on the 9th of August and we had fantastic service. The food was wonderful, cooked to perfection and we had a lot of positive feedback from people at our wedding. The staff were polite, friendly and hard working and Zoe (front of house) was wonderful. Nothing was too much for her and she kept things running so smoothly on the day. You exceeded all of our expectations in every way. The food was incredible, the chefs and waiting staff, friendly and helpful and the front of house (we think it is Sally, forgive us for forgetting) was just unbelievable. The team were fantastic in dealing with the adhoc requests that came their way, even when this may not have been within their scope of duties. Hi Beth, Nathan and his helper (forgive me, I cannot recall the young lady’s name) did a brilliant job for us yesterday. Everything was set up in plenty of time; the food was excellent – not a single complaint, but plenty of compliments from our members! – and everything was cleaned and left tidy. Dear Beth, Jan and all the team, I wanted to write and thank you, on behalf of all of us at Alvan Blanch, for making our 60th Anniversary party so very special. You cannot make a party without good food and good service – and you certainly did not disappoint! William – Thank you for bearing with me in booking phase. You were very patient and by far the most friendly hog-roast-salesman I spoke to! Beth – You and your team did a fantastic job on the night – and going the extra mile (literally) to get coke was just customer-service-class! (and I have now learnt that 2 coke bottles is not enough soft drink for over 100 people…) You all teamed together so well and the drinks and canapés flowed beautifully. You running the show meant I could let my hair down and really enjoy myself. Thank you. Jan – What a lovely surprise that you had been here before and know the Blanch family. Apologies for not remembering you from when I was three! Once our brains and feet warmed up, you were absolutely brilliant at sorting out the whole catering package. The food was unbelievably good – and I have had so many positive reports saying that it was excellent catering in every course. You will be pleased to know that from bedtime at 4am on Friday to Lunch time on Monday, my family and I ate roughly 7 portions each of your Thai salad and Chicken Caesar, all the pork.. and the pudding was enjoyed by all in the office on Monday – so none was wasted! *We loved the salads so much, that we wondered whether it might be possible to steal a recipe – if they aren’t copyrighted?! There is no doubt that, should we have an occasion to celebrate with a pig again, we will most certainly be in touch with you all at Spitting Pig (I will just have to think up an excuse!).
