Hog Roast Gloucester Creates a Stunning Feast for an Intimate Wedding

Hog Roast GloucesterHog Roast Gloucester had the pleasure of catering a beautiful wedding on 16th August 2025, serving 19 guests a truly memorable meal. Catering Managers Harry, Rob, and James ensured every detail was perfect, from canapés to dessert.

Guests were welcomed with elegant canapés, including mini Yorkshire puddings with horseradish cream, chicken satay skewers with peanut sauce, and smoked salmon – the perfect start to the celebration.

For the main course, the table was a feast to behold: joints of succulent pork with homemade sage and onion stuffing and classic apple sauce, cooked generously to allow for Hog Roast Gloucestertasty leftovers later. Alongside this, a whole roasted sirloin of English beef was served with Yorkshire puddings and rich red wine gravy, cooked exactly to guests’ liking.

Our homemade vegetarian and vegan option featured grilled vegetable skewers (halloumi-free for vegans) with wraps, tzatziki, and a sweet and punchy sweet chilli sauce – ensuring everyone had something delicious to enjoy.

A selection of freshly baked bread rolls and wraps was provided, with gluten-free and dairy-free options available upon request. Salads included heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella, seasonal leaves, and a vibrant red cabbage slaw. Buttered new potatoes completed the hearty spread.

Desserts were a showstopper, featuring vacherins of strawberries and passionfruit cream, alongside indulgent sticky toffee pudding – all served on fine China with stainless cutlery and elegant napkins, giving the meal a refined and celebratory touch.
