With celebrations taking place at the brilliant Ashton Keynes Village Hall all the way through the evening, the around 80 guests in attendance were treated to a special hog roast feast courtesy of our catering managers, Rob, Harry, and James. These three know best when it comes to creating special dining for a special day. If there is one dish that guests are going to want to remember for the rest of their life then it is most assuredly the hog roast. Teeming with style and brilliance from cooking to the final bite, it’s a truly special dish reserved for a special day.
With an early evening start the Hog Roast Swindon team made sure to fire up our hog roast machine early in the day to ensure that it would have the time required to an exact level of perfection. Once the roast was lovely and bronzed with that crisp texturing that you want in any roast, our chefs could then hand pull all of that lovely tender and juicy pork to go into our main menu feast. Together with the crispness of our golden crackling, the added flavour of our sage and onion stuffing, and the moistness of our refreshing apple sauce, it is a perfect filler for a roll or wrap. We then also served up grilled veg and halloumi skewers as a veggie alternative, and complimented the whole menu with fresh coleslaw and mixed leaves.
