Saturday the 5th August, we hosted a wedding event near Stratton at the Father of the Grooms house – a beautiful place it was. The sun was shining, the marquee was up and ready, the food was prepared and on show in the beautiful garden. The bride and groom looked wonderful and were welcomed to the garden with champagne and pimms circulating the guests on arrival.
For 6 o’clock the hog roast Stratton and a lamb roast along with stuffing was ready to serve with, roasted new potatoes with rosemary and garlic, gourmet coleslaw, spring green leaf salad, tomato and mozzarella salad. People were coming up and getting seconds all giving out their compliments to how succulent and juicy the hog roast Stratton meat was; we had to top up the roasted new potatoes the most – they seemed to be the favourite along with the tender lamb. Champagne was delivered out by our wonderful staff for the toasts that ran into the evening before the band began. Everyone embraced the dance floor. At 10pm the evening buffet involved the leftovers from the wedding breakfasts, along with an abundance of cheese, crackers, port and wedding cake. At midnight the evening drew to a close with happy merry guests leaving the event.
