Hog Roast Barnwood is often asked to cater with one of our mouthwatering hog roasts, but did you know that we have so much choice and variety on offer that we can satisfy the wants and needs of all of your guests and not just the majority? While our signature food is incredibly popular among many of our customers, whether made into yummy pigs in buns or as part of a plated meal, we have a great wealth of alternative and additional options that we think you’ll be surprised.
If you’d prefer a spit-roast, we can freshly prepare and cook turkeys, chickens, lamb or beef or we can barbecue up chef’s own sausages, ribs and 100% beef burgers. You may want one of our specialty standalone Hog Roast Barnwood menus served instead, like our Southern Slow Roast, where you decide on three marinated meats and four hot or cold sides for us to serve, or our Loaded Fries, which are topped with beef brisket or pulled pork, slaw and cheese.
Special diets can always be catered for as long as we have advance notice. We have lots of possibilities for vegans and vegetarians, and one thing that often surprises our customers is that we can easily make our pigs in buns gluten-free, as all the ingredients are suitable except for the bread rolls and wraps, so with notice, we can take along suitable ones for those guests. We can also make plenty of canapés, starters, sides or desserts if needed, and we can help you to create the menu of your dreams – whether that’s with just a delicious main or several courses.
Hog Roast Barnwood catered a private party recently where we needed to ensure that both carnivores and vegetarians could enjoy a tasty feast, and with pigs in buns for the former and halloumi and veg skewers for the latter, the mains were covered, but we also cooked sweet potato wedges, mac and cheese and corn cobettes and made our homemade coleslaw, and all these were suitable for all of the guests, who devoured the lot in record time!
