Good afternoon from all of us at the Spitting Pig team, it’s FRIDAY! Time to relax…

Well it’s been a very busy week for our Spitting Pig team catering up and down the country, and for our sales team who always work very hard taking your enquires and organising paperwork.

Last weekend our Northern team catered for an event to celebrate a very happy couple’s silver wedding anniversary. The couple decided to have the traditional Hog roast with crackling of course, three fresh salads and for the vegetarian option they had two homemade quiches (Austrian smoked goat’s cheese & mature cheddar) and a broccoli and Stilton. These are one of the most popular choices for the vegetarian option, simply because they’re so delicious!

After the weekend was over and Monday morning greeted us we received a phone call from one of the guests from the wedding anniversary praising our efficient service, professional approach and quality of food. This makes us very happy to hear all the positive feedback.

Tomorrow we are heading to Gloucester for a “family fun day” organised by Glaxo Smith Kline. We have ordered a fresh Pig, sausages and burgers to rustle up on the day. Accompanying the meat will be our freshly made salads and our signature vegetarian dish- homemade pasta bake M mmmmm! Let’s hope the weather holds out for us, but we can provide gazebos just in case.
